In this week’s episode Alex and I discuss whether or not I am really a fan of the band Rush, our various old-man ailments, and a little bit of post-game on the big MoCCA arts-festival this past last weekend. Comments welcome!

Guys, guys, guys… you need to work on the Led Zeppelin thing. Once you let them into your heart your lives will never be the same. LET’S DO THIS!
I’m getting better. I like a lot of Led Zeppelin II, especially. Particularly “Ramble On”.
Very funny to hear you guys talking from afar.
Love it! But just so know… I totally was yelling the answers out.
Mike, check out http://www.sinucleanse.com/
I’ve found it’s the best Neti pot.
Matt Kindt and I use them regularly!
I’m a big Rush fan and I’d say Mike classifies as a semi-fan… all his Rush facts check out. But Alex, it’s pronounced “Piert.”
I can’t get into Zeppelin because the jerks in my high school loved ‘em… but nobody liked Rush.. except me.
Also, Springsteen wrote Blinded by the Light.
Maybe I could classify myself as a Rush “enthusiast”? I mean, fan really means “fanatic”, and clearly I’m not fanatical about them, but I am definitely enthusiastic to hear their songs when they come on.
I always confuse Springsteen’s “Binded by the Light” for his other song “Spirit in the Sky”.
Nah, I’d say you classify as a fan… you’ve got the main albums and you know enough about ‘em. I consider myself a Queen fan but I don’t know all the words to every deep cut track on every album…. like I’m sure you do. So maybe you’re a Rush fan and a Queen uber fan?
ramble on was led zepelin 2
love them like Queen like the WHO LOVE the stones
I hear ya though becuse I hate Pink Flyod and Bruce Springsten becuse they are respectvly the soundtrack of the two worst beatings I ever took
A note on the MoCCA staff defending themselves:
On the second day I mentioned the stinky heat to the woman in charge of the floor. She insisted, from her post by the front doors/fans, that it was not really THAT hot.
I pointed to various sweat drenched compatriots lethargically dragging themselves from booth to booth in an art nerd death march as well as the people who were leaving early. She still insisted it was not that hot, and even if it were, the Armory’s ventilation system was broken.
I still enjoyed the show.
Conversely, I loved Pink Floyd in high school. That and the Beatles were pretty much all I listened to.
Not only is the show improving, but it’s getting better!
I enjoyed the show. This particular episode was a glimpse of the future when the retired versions of you just spend 30 minutes talking about your ailments and the medication you’re currently taking. Well done.
