    Man, I’m glad I wasn’t in that prog rock discussion. ;)

    Hemispheres is my favorite Rush album too. Styx is right on the edge of prog rock sometimes. Other prog bands: Jethro Tull, ELP, Yes, Gentle Giant, Genesis. Later came Marillion, IQ, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Spock’s Beard.

    I actually like Rush’s last few CDs quite a lot – best since p/g.

    Also, check out this band: Mago de Oz. (umlaut over the “a”. They’re a progressive Celtic metal band from Spain. They sing in Spanish.

    I could draw a prog-borg-owl from memory!

    Scott: I’m not really very up on too many prog rock bands, aside from Rush. I think I’ve mentioned elsewhere that I got into them in High School through a friend, but I never really went much further than that. I will check out those other bands you suggest.
