ACT-I-VATE Primer, in PREVIEWS now

16 original stories by the premier webcomix collective, ACT-I-VATE, with a foreward by Warren Ellis, coming this October from IDW Publishing.

With its roster of renowned creators serializing webcomix for free since 2006, ACT-I-VATE, has reached a comicbook critical mass. Now this funnybook big bang has birthed The Act-i-vate Primer, the very

A short break…

I’m putting my serialized comic, Jack & Max Escape From the End of Time, on hiatus for the month of August, planning to return sometime in September. I need to spend a little time with the script, and away from the drawing table. I will post announcements about it’s return date once I figure all that out.

Also- it’s been called to my attention that I haven’t been tagging these MP3 files properly. Starting with this episode, that should be fixed, and I plan on going back and correcting all the other shows retroactively.

The Ink Panthers Show! Episode 7.5

Picking up from where last episode left off, we recorded the Cartoonist’s Brunch event from this past Sunday, with (L to R) John Kerschbaum, me, and Alex at Bergen Street Comics. I thought the afternoon was fantastic. I can’t get over how many people showed up. Thanks to everyone who did, I hope you enjoyed the conversation, and also took advantage of the complimentary mimosas and muffins. Sadly, I must report, I was not able to drink enough mimosas to cause me to black out, despite all my best efforts.

Final reminder: Cartoonist’s Brunch

cartoonist's brunch bergen street comics

One last reminder about this event at Bergen Street Comics, tomorrow from 12-3PM. I think the presentation will probably begin around 12:30 or so. Then, following the conversation, there’ll be mingling, mimosas, and muffins.

I think I’ve figured out how I can record this, so will hopefully be able to post it next week as a special Ink Panthers Show! episode. If any of you come prepared with questions, then you’ll make it onto the podcast!

Hope to see some of you there.
